Autoimmune disease

I’m a survivor of Lupus which is a very debilitating and life-threatening autoimmune disease which caused me to be constantly in pain, inflamed and suffering from low energy for the first 44 years of my life. During this time I did whatever I could to find relief from the chronic pain and inflammation that unsparingly ravaged my body on a daily basis.
The doctors I went to didn't have any real solutions and simply wanted to put me on steroids and other medications which I knew would cause me to gain weight and shorten my life expectancy. Eventually the discomfort and inability to function became so horrible I found myself thinking that I didn't want to live another day.
I went to see a Physician because I'd been bed-ridden for several days, running a fever, and was so tired I could barely walk. I couldn't keep any food or water, down. It had gotten so bad, I thought I was dying...which I probably was.
My Doctor wasn't able to do anything for me except to refer me to a Rheumatologist and an Endocrinologist. Not only was this depressing emotionally, I could see that the medical bills were mounting quickly with no end in sight. While walking out of the doctor’s office I realized that I needed to go to Sanoviv. So, when I got in the car I used my cell phone to call Sanoviv and told them I wanted to be admitted as quickly as possible.
Two days later I found myself at the San Diego airport boarding the shuttle van which rushed me off to Sanoviv. I was so grey, ashen, and exhausted that I could barely step into the van let alone walk into Sanoviv when I got there. Upon my arrival they took a photo of me and when I saw it I hardly recognized myself as I looked old and frail. I honestly thought that I wouldn't last another day!...and my partner of 13 years, Michael Adamson, was also terrified that this could also very well be the case!
However, much to my joy, by the third day of receiving treatment I remember having the energy to walk briskly up and down the stairs without pain. Needless to say, I felt a wonderful rush of hope and decided to fight for my life no matter what was required and ended up staying at Sanoviv for a total of three weeks at that time.
Over the years, I’ve spent a total of 14 weeks at Sanoviv consisting of undergoing treatment, taking friends of mine on tours of this amazing facility, and visiting and staying with dear friends of mine who were also suffering from a variety of degenerative diseases.
Most recently, one of friends also thought she was at death's door because every single one of the Physicians she had been going to in the United States for years said there was nothing else they could do for her. She knew my experience of Sanoviv so she decided to go and after being there for two weeks and undergoing treatment she too experienced her health returning.
Sadly, our society not only fails to teach us how to prevent disease - and especially how to maintain and restore our health - it actually promotes and profits from our being sick. Sanoviv, however, does just the opposite. It gave me the tools I needed to not only survive...but to thrive in today’s fast-paced, stress riddled world.
We owe it to ourselves to feel and function optimally every day. It's our divine birthright. The health professionals at Sanoviv know how to magnify the body's innate ability to heal itself as well as minimize the toxic burdens that hinder that process so that the organs and cells of the body regain their ability to function the way nature intended.
I have been blessed by being able to take USANA 's unparalleled health & wellness supplements as a result of being a USANA Independent Associate for nearly 16 years now, and especially because Dr. Myron Wentz, who founded USANA in 1992 also built Sanoviv. Together I can truly say they've saved my life twice and I shall be forever grateful!
